PFC’s trauma informed approach is based on asking, not what is wrong with you, but what happened to you? The attachment framework puts relationships at the center of treatment and creates a sense of security, connection, and belonging for children and their families. The Strengthening Families Project aims to increase access to services for families experiencing the effects of substance use. Manager will receive training and supervision in obtaining their LAC. PFC Family Care services include targeted case management, outpatient therapy, in-home support, psychoeducation, process groups, and community-based psychiatric rehabilitation. We also recruit, train, and support therapeutic foster families. We support caregivers to provide unconditional regard to children and help them to recognize and respond to the developmental needs underlying a child’s behaviors.
