Come join us! We are looking for someone to help us create an inviting and well-run space at the Flathead Youth Home. The youth who come to us seek security and stability, and this person ensures our facility is a place they can come to and feel cared for.

As the home coordinator, you will be in charge of essential day to day responsibilities that keep our facility running. Arrive at the house at 7am and leave by 3pm – this is a great role that allows you lots of flexibility in your afternoons. You’ll manage our home budget, plan and cook meals for the kids, oversee equipment maintenance, and help with supervision and transportation as needed. This is the perfect role for someone who likes varied responsibilities, is passionate about mentoring kids, and thrives in a fast paced, on-your-feet type of role.

This position is responsible for:
Manage Home and Home Budget
Coordinate meal program
Oversee condition of facility and equipment
Supervision of at-risk youth as needed
Transporting youth in company van (valid drivers license required)

About Flathead Youth Home: Our dually-licensed home combine the qualities of short-term shelter and longer-term group care in one program We are located in north Kalispell. We built our own facility, knowing we needed an inviting, warm, safe space that was built exactly for our needs. It includes individual bedrooms, a large yard, kitchen, living room, and a few other common spaces. Our team is passionate about supporting youth through challenging times in their life. About Youth Homes: For over 50 years, Youth Homes has provided care to children and youth who have experienced significant trauma and loss. We provide crisis shelter to teens at four shelters in western Montana and Helena. We also operate four therapeutic group homes for youth with serious emotional disturbances as well as one group home for youth aging out of the foster care system who need help with independent living skills.
