Position Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from a college or university with a Master’s degree in social work or counseling that leads to Montana licensure as a LCSW or LCPC. Two years’ experience with children is preferred, along with a thorough knowledge of emotionally disturbed youth. Other types of experience may be considered. Currently licensed in Montana as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor. If unlicensed must be credentialed with MT Board of Behavioral Health as a Social Worker Licensure Candidate or Professional Counselor Licensure Candidate. Must have a strong knowledge base in the following areas: developmental stages of childhood, theory and practice of mental health principles, and assessment using DSM V as well as familiarity with serious emotional disturbance criteria. Travel required. Must have current MT Drivers License, personal vehicle and current vehicle insurance.

Description:
Duties: A mental health professional directing therapeutic activities, individual, family and group therapy in the CSCT Program as part of a team to stabilize and promote mental health wellness. Includes providing outpatient therapy to children and families in a school setting. Performs assessments and completes clinical documentation. Plans, implements and directs treatment and works with CSCT Behavior Specialist as part of a multidisciplinary team. Site eligible for loan repayment through the National Health Services Corporation for Licensed Therapist. Loan Repayment program is only available as part-time status.
